Pipeline Submitter
Call for Pipeline Abstracts Open until February 6, 2012
On behalf of the American Society for Experimental NeuroTherapeutics (ASENT), the co-chairs of the 2012 Pipeline Program, Drs. Michael A. Rogawski and Philip Perera would like to invite you and your associates to submit one or more abstracts for consideration as an oral presentation during the 2012 Pipeline Session. We anticipate that most submitted abstracts will be selected for oral presentation, but those that cannot will have the opportunity to be presented as Pipeline posters.
The 2012 Pipeline Session will be held Friday, February 24th from 1:00 pm-5:00 pm at the ASENT 14th Annual Meeting, which will held February 22-25, 2012 at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Washington, DC. Pipeline presenters can attend the Annual Meeting for the specially discounted fee of $125, a $225 discount off the regular early-bird registration fee. The Pipeline Session will enable investigators in academia, government, industry and advocacy to present an update on research and development in a specific project related to neurotherapeutics. Such projects may address potential or actual treatments for neurological disorders, psychiatric disorders, pain, neuro-oncology, neurological infections or any other disorder affecting the central or peripheral nervous systems. Clinical and preclinical stage projects will be considered.
This will be the fourth year that ASENT will host the Pipeline Session. By all accounts, these sessions have been a great success and we anticipate another stimulating session in 2012. The deadline for submission is Monday, February 6, 2012.
The total time allotted for each oral presentation (including time for questions) will be 10 minutes. PowerPoint slides are required. Slides will not be posted after the meeting unless approved by the presenter. Oral presenters are also encouraged to provide a poster of their presentation for display at the meeting, but this is not required.
